Mornings are extra special in our covered Pavillion area – perfect for large gatherings of ‘Glampers’!
A recent group of ‘glampers’ swarmed Swiftwater RV Park in early May.
Women from Oregon, Washington and all parts of Idaho drove their ‘cuted up’ vintage trailers and spent a few days glamping (glamour camping) by the Salmon River. From coffee ‘any way you want it’ in the morning to feasts in the evening, the glampers set up their outdoorsy and artsy vintage trailers throughout the campground.
The campers caught the eye of an Idaho newspaper. Outdoor Recreation writer and 40-year veteran Pete Zimowsky from the Idaho Statesman – a Boise, Idaho daily newspaper – paid a visit to the campground and subsequently wrote a feature article in the 2014 Camping Issue of the paper.
