Our Guests Are The Best!
In reflection, it is always our guests that I come back to. They are the best part of this business! I cannot thank them enough for camping at Swiftwater, and returning over and over again. When folks are vacationing in a pretty spot….they’re happy! Yay!
Offering a 12% camping discount is a small gesture of my deep appreciation.
What Has Changed?
Looking back 12 years ago, besides 2004 also being a leap year like 2016, amazingly also in April, Google released Gmail! While Swiftwater RV Park is light years from Google, becoming the owner of a small business was a big change to my life. I have loved every minute of those 12 years!
The restrooms remain spotless. The Gazebo is as lovely as ever. Free WiFi helps guests keep in touch with their world. Pets are always welcome. Fish are caught on this stretch of the Lower Salmon River. The road to Pittsburg Landing on the Snake River beckons the adventurer to enjoy the ruggedness of the unique Hells Canyon National Recreation Area.
On the other hand, the trees have grown tremendously, though guests can still find their satellite in the sky to beam in favorite TV programs.
Our recently renovated Pavillion offers a covered gathering space for guests to cook (on our propane BBQ), eat together at the picnic tables, play card games and chit chat far into the evening.Other changes are Trip Advisor reviews help guests decide to stay with us. And…. our Facebook page and group ‘Friends of Swiftwater‘, grow in popularity.
For these 12 years, Swiftwater RV Park guests have enjoyed atv-riding, scenic driving, jet boat tours, fishing, bird watching (especially in the Spring months), and my favorite – sitting in a lawn chair under the shade of a big Willow, watching the Salmon River flow by. Reunions and gatherings of all sizes, from the single tent camper to the 40’ motor home traveler…and everything in between, including our special favorite – the vintage trailer campers….are always welcome here at our little piece of heaven.
So, thank you! Please stop by, say ‘Hi’ and if you can stay a night or two, take advantage of our 12th Anniversary 12% April discount!
